The maximum annual contribution to a Medical Spending Account (MSA) will drop to $2,500 in 2013. If two married active employees both participate in MoneyPlu$, they can each contribute $2,500 to their individual MSAs ($5,000 combined). These limits were not listed in the Insurance Advantage.
The maximum annual contribution to a Dependent Care Spending Account remains $5,000. The maximum annual contribution to a Health Savings Account (HSA) in 2013 is $3,250 for an individual and $6,450 for a family. Employees age 55 and older can make an additional $1,000 catch-up contribution to an HSA.
