Medco Health Solutions, Inc., the pharmacy benefits manager for the State Health Plan (SHP), merged with Express Scripts, Inc., on April 2. There are no changes to the State Health Plan Prescription Drug benefits because of the merger. Although the name of the combined business will be Express Scripts, SHP subscribers will continue to see the Medco name for now.

The pharmacy network for SHP subscribers will also remain the same. Walgreens, which is not a part of the Express Scripts network, will remain in the SHP network.
